In the podcast’s premiere episode, Tena and Tama speak with Mark Solano, Senior Manager of Public Affairs at Outreach Strategists and friend of the animals, about how Conversations For The Animals came to be, the history of the animal homelessness crisis in Houston, and Texas legislation that will improve the quality of life of animals across the state.

Recently, Representative Collier partnered with THLN to file House Bill 873, the “Safe Outdoor Dogs” bill. This bill would improve the quality of life for dogs and formalize the basic standard of care in which dogs can be housed and restrained while outside.
